I’m Oksana, my friends call me Sania. I am a Ukrainian‑Canadian artist based in Toronto. I've been a professional musician for most of my life—playing piano and teaching others. Over time, another desire grew alongside music: to reflect the beauty of the natural world on canvas. 

I’ve always loved nature and hiking, and I wanted to capture those moments of light and colour on canvas. I began painting in acrylics and studying the techniques of artists I admire, especially the Impressionist masters. Some works are original compositions, and some are studies created as part of that learning process. Each painting, however, is hand-painted and one of a kind.

Painting has become an important part of my daily life. Through this gallery, I hope to share that love and to encourage anyone who feels unsure about starting something new. It’s never too late to begin.
